We build your beautiful new fence, deck and dock, so you get the outdoor space everyone loves.

At Whatcom Handyman we build your fence strong straight and plumb.  

It feels great to know you’ll have the finest-looking fence in the neighborhood!

Our installation team is made of talented, happy, highly skilled and trained people with a passion for treating you like family.  

We will build your fence to or above A.F.A. construction standards.  

The American Fence Association provides guidelines and training to its members that protect you and keep high standards for professional fence erectors.

Your fence comes with a lifetime workmanship warranty. That means if we fail to rise to AFA standards we’ll make it right.

It covers

  1. Gate Hinge and Latch Adjustment

  2. Fence leaning

  3. Detached rails

  4. Installation methods to be at or above A.F.A. standards of craftsmanship.

Exceptions to the warranty are

  • Repairs to existing fences are not covered.

  • When our materials are mixed with fence materials from another fence company, there is no coverage.

  • Acts of God are not covered.

  • Damage caused by allowing plant life of any sort to grow directly upon or in contact with any portion of the product or sap from trees;

  • Any alteration to the product itself by the property owner including any on-site cutting or welding.

  • Damage to the product caused by the property owner by use of landscape, gardening equipment, chemicals that may cause damage, water sprinklers with high mineral content and/or greywater/reclaimed water.

  • Damage resulting from accident, unreasonable use, neglect, alteration, improper service, improper installation, acts of God or any other causes not arising out of defects in materials or workmanship.

This is a non-transferable warranty.
Warranty effective date: 10/01/24

  • Limited non-workmanship bonus coverages

    • Complete wood picket splits (up to 1 year from installation)
